Mitch Marner finally broke his goal scoring drought, but that only opened the door for his teammates to chirp him.

Tuesday, the Leafs took on the Hurricanes in the 'Next Century Game,' a contest that celebrated the NHL's first 100 years of existence. In an effort to allow young fans to celebrate the momentous occasion, the Leafs helped make sure that the game was played in the afternoon, ensuring that kids of all ages could be in attendance. This led to Marner getting absolutely roasted with youngster jokes by his teammates during the Leafs 8-1 blowout.

Following the game, head coach Mike Babcock discussed how he only knew about the increase in young fans because he kept hearing Marner getting chirped with kid jokes.

Marner probably didn't mind, though, as he had a huge day on the score sheet, notching three assists to go with his one goal. The goal snapped a 15-game goal drought. No wonder Marner had a huge smile on while posing for a picture with his Leafs family on Tuesday evening.
