The season hasn’t quite gotten off to the start Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns had hoped. The 1-2 squad came into the season believing that they had what it takes to really make an impact on the NFL for the first time in a number of years. In fact, some were thinking that they had finally assembled the pieces necessary in making a legitimate Super Bowl run.

It has not gone quite as planned, as the Browns fell to the Tennessee Titans and the Los Angeles Rams. The one team that they did beat was the lowly New York Jets, who were down to their third string quarterback for most of the game.

If there’s anything positive to say, maybe it’s “could be worse!”

Baker Mayfield may be seen as a bit of a letdown thus far this season, but nothing can compare to the self-inflicted tire fire that has been Antonio Brown’s demise.

If you’ve been on vacation under a rock for the past few months, let’s just say AB has left the league in very dramatic fashion. Don’t let us tell you though, let Mayfield tell you in his reply to a comment on his Instagram.

Ouch. Mayfield covered a lot of ground with one comment. It was a very strange original comment, as it seemed fairly out of the blue. Mayfield was just posting about his mentality, but maybe it was just interpreted differently. We’ll let you decide:

Just some undersized Walk On... Keep that same energy.

So far it’s all silent on the AB social media front, but it wouldn’t be surprising if it flared up over the next little while. Brown has certainly made it clear that nobody is safe from his Twitter fingers, just ask fellow NFLers Golden Tate and Eric Weddle.
