Monday night, Matt Harvey returns to New York for the first time as a member of another team (the Reds) and although he won't be pitching in the first game of the series, all eyes will be on him.

Harvey was beloved by Mets fans at the beginning of his career, but things soured over the years and the Mets dealt him to the Reds this season, this ending his time in New York.

Now that he's back in town, you can be the New York media wants to talk with him, but Harvey isn't making accommodations for the media:

Call it petty if you want, but Harvey doesn't owe the Mets a thing and that team, along with their fans, have a lot more to be upset about than Harvey not being accommodating.

The best part about all of this is that Harvey, apparently, didn't know about the Mets' request, so there's no reason for anyone to be mad at him.  Mets fans will find a way, though, because it beats being even more upset at your own team.
