Animals always seem to find their way onto sports fields every year, but it’s been especially prevalent this summer.

Last month, we saw the squirrel that invaded a Calgary Stampeders and Saskatchewan Roughriders game and got very involved in the action. Now, we have Rally Kitten. Last night, in St. Louis, the Cardinals were down 5-4 with the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Kansas City’s deadly bullpen ready to take over in the seventh, this may have been St. Louis’s last shot.

Then, Rally Kitten.

The kitten made its way onto the field, interrupting Yadier Molina’s at bat, and then he proceeded to crush a grand slam to give the Cardinals the lead for good.

Since then, fans have been praising the feline for the Cards’ big win.

For the most part, you hear about cats being bad luck, but perhaps Rally Kitten has changed that stigma for good.
