The magical rise continues. Bianca Andreescu has finally made her way into the top 10 in the projected live rankings, after her second-round win against Kirsten Flipkens at the U.S. Open.

Cracking the top-10 this season was a goal for Andreescu, who began the year at No. 152, and title wins at Indian Wells and the Canadian Open earlier this year have sent her skyrocketing up the rankings.

But she’s locked in on the U.S. Open right now, and it was news to Andreescu when a reporter asked her about reaching the top 10. Her reaction is pretty incredible!

You’ve got to love it. There’s an entire generation of young tennis stars shaking up the status quo right now, from Andreescu and top-ranked Naomi Osaka to Coco Gauff (just 15 years old!) and Taylor Townsend following her stunner over No. 4 Simona Halep.

Getting to the top-10 is cool, but you know that Andreescu has loftier goals than just that. She’ll continue her pursuit of the U.S. Open title against Caroline Wozniacki in the third round, and perhaps eventually, that top spot in the rankings as well.

The sky is the limit for #BiancaAndreescu 👀
