The Houston Texans came out of the gates like a wrecking ball during Sunday’s divisional clash with the Kansas City Chiefs. In a very surprising 1st quarter, the Texans managed to put up three majors on the Chiefs, while holding the red, yellow, and white to an unexpected goose egg.

21-0 heading into the 2nd, and the Texans threatening early in the quarter once again.

They made their way all the way into the red zone where they found themselves starring down a 4th and 1 with an opportunity to put the game even further away than before. After originally opting to go for it in a decision that had the respect of Tony Romo and probably just about everyone watching, Texans coach Bill O’Brien opted instead to take the easy three points.

One Mecole Hardman return later and the momentum had swung. Then O’Brien decided to attempt a direct snap on the fake punt, and it resulted in another huge momentum-shifting stop for the Chiefs with lots of time left.

The Chiefs would go on to destroy the Texans 51-31.
