Not even a full season into his current five-year contract with the Los Angeles Clippers, Blake Griffin is now a member of the Detroit Pistons.

Monday, ESPN NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski dropped a huge 'Woj-Bomb,' reporting that the Clippers had agreed to a deal with the Pistons that would see Griffin end up in Detroit. Of course, this comes just months after Griffin signed a five-year, $173 million contract with the Clippers after being wooed with a free agent campaign that saw the team do a mock jersey retirement ceremony.

Yeah, you would imagine that a real jersey retirement ceremony is unlikely to happen now. The trade stunned fans across the world, but out of all the reactions on Twitter to Griffins move to the Motor City, the best one came from the man himself.

It's no secret that Griffin enjoyed being a Clipper and loved living in Los Angeles, so the star's move up north had plenty of fans online reacting with a whole assortment of memes.

Funny enough, both the Pistons and the Clippers currently sit in ninth place in their respective conferences, so it's not like Griffin will at least get to say that he's going to a team with a better chance of making a deep run in the playoffs.

Now we'll just have to wait and see if the Clippers move DeAndre Jordan, officially dismantling the core group of players that made them perennial contenders in the Western Conference for the past few seasons.
