Brad Marchand and the Boston Bruins are off to the East Final. While the celebrations are undoubtedly underway in Boston, everyone is talking about Brad Marchand’s, er, unique post-game interviews.

Usually it would be the losing team that isn’t exactly in a talkative mood (and in fact, Jackets coach John Tortorella was not), but Marchand was the man of few words following the Game 6 victory. In a post-game scrum, Marchand went for over a minute giving nothing much more than one word for each question.

It seemed like he began the scrum in a decidedly testy mood. As it went on and got more and more ridiculous, he seemed to start having a little more fun with it. It almost seemed like a game he was playing to see how many questions he could weather, meanwhile the reporters tried to trip him up.

Just saying, “Summarize this game in two words” would have been a perfect question.

Meanwhile, on the other side…

John #Tortorella was not having it during his post-game conference. 😳😬

Would not want to be sharing an Uber with Torts tonight, that’s for sure…
