Things got ugly late in the game between the Ottawa Senators and Los Angeles Kings on Saturday night, but something happened that shouldn’t happen in a hockey game or any sport for that matter.
With just over six minutes left in the game, things got heated between both sides and in the middle of it all was Brady Tkachuk and Brendan Lemieux.
As the two returned to their skates Tkachuk was furious with Lemieux, saying the Kings forward had allegedly bit him during their altercation and had some proof to back it all up.
Well, after the game, Tkachuk did not hold back one bit and completely sounded off on Lemieux, calling him ‘a joke’ and saying ‘he shouldn’t be in the league’ and that ‘he’s just a bad guy’.
Lemieux received a 5-minute major and was tossed from the game, while Tkachuk received a double-minor for roughing. Unfortunately, this was the second and final meeting between the two clubs this season.
