One of hockey's unwritten rules involves the roles a player will take on during a scrum.

Most of the time, players will grab a member of the opposition, essentially neutralizing them from going after one of their teammates.

If their partner isn't in a jostling mood, then the on-lookers just stand around and make sure nothing crazy happens as others on the ice settle their differences.

But sometimes, players become so pent up with raw emotion from the game that they feel the need to take on two players at once, a la Brayden Schenn during Sunday's Game 5.

In between whistles, Schenn was in the kitchen of Martin Jones' crease, presumably doing what he does by being a menace around the goalmouth looking for a greasy one to pot in. Coming to the defence of his teammate David Perron, who had three Sharks in his vicinity, Schenn extended both arms out to lock down Justin Braun and Brent Burns.

You have to hand it for Schenn there for having the stones to go after two players bigger than him, and you could just see the grin beaming off his face. Did Braun for a second think Burns was a Blue based off how he's pushing him away?

Schenn finished the game with one apple in the Blues' convincing 5-0 win to take a 3-2 series lead.
