Browns fans certainly can relate to the “drink your sorrows away” phrase. Over the past two seasons, the Cleveland football franchise has a combined one win in their last two seasons (1-31) and a total of four spread over the last three years.

Without a win in 2018, Bud Light is offering the fan base a little hope by placing a bunch of locked fridges full of beer at bars in and around the football stadium. If the Browns manage to grab onto an elusive win this season, the fridges will be instantaneously unlocked.

"The Bud Light Browns ‘Victory Fridge’ is a fun way to celebrate and reward a fan base that has never wavered in enthusiasm or dedication for their team no matter what happens,” said Andy Goeler, Vice-President of Marketing, Bud Light in a statement. “We’re proud to show our support for Cleveland, and we’re always looking to bring NFL fans and friends together for memorable experiences.  It’s going to be fun to be part of the celebration when the team earns their first victory of the season.”

Each fridge will hold 200 of the Bud Light signature blue 16-ounce aluminum bottles.

The Browns last win came on December 24th, 2016 against the San Diego Chargers with Robert Griffin III in the pocket. They'll open up the season agains the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 9th.

Brace yourself, Cleveland.
