Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy was pretty frustrated with the New York Islanders in game 5 on Monday.

Following the Bruins 5-4 loss to the Isles, Cassidy made it very clear in his post game presser that he was unimpressed with the lack of penalty calls during the game. The Bruins were called for four penalties while the Islanders were in the box for just two!

Cassidy referred the New York Islanders as the New York Saints.

It’s too bad that Cassidy was unaware of the fact that there used to be a lacrosse team with the same name in the same city! The New York Saints played at the Coliseum in the National Lacrosse League from 1989 to 2003. The best part? Somebody tracked down former New York Saint goalie, Sal LoCascio who will be attending game 5 in his old Saints jersey.

You bet Islanders fans trolled the Bruins hard with this one.
