The Chicago Bulls and the Minnesota Timberwolves completely shocked the basketball community when they agreed on a trade during the 2017 NBA Draft.

The deal sent Jimmy Butler and the rights to No. 16 overall pick Justin Patton to the Timberwolves in exchange for Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn and the rights to No. 7 overall pick Lauri Markkanen.

Butler’s name has been involved in trade talks for quite some time now, but the rumors always involved a title contender.

Despite improving year after year and coming off a career season, the Bulls decided it was time to go into a different direction and dealt their superstar anyways.

Once the trade became official, Butler’s trainer Travelle Gaines weighed in on the deal all the way from Paris, France.

Bulls fans are pretty rattled about the trade right now, but no one seems to be more upset than Butler’s trainer. Since he’s in Paris, Gaines posted this tweet on his Twitter account at 4:32am local time, so you can bet his entire day has been thrown off.
