The city of Ottawa has entered party mode and it is going to stay there until a Grey Cup Champion is awarded on Sunday night.

CFL fans from across Canada have invaded the Nation’s Capital for what could be considered a going-away party for the Grey Cup. The reigning champion Ottawa Redblacks will not be playing in the Grey Cup, but they are still the host for the game and the festivities have started early.

The Argos and Stampeders arrived in town today, so our friend Cabbie made sure to catch up with the players before checking out some of the parties going on in ByWard market, in the first-ever edition of Late Night Cabbie.

Just in that clip, you can get a taste of hungry these players are for the championship. Cabbie on the other hand was clearly a little thirsty for some water. We’re not sure any other reporter in the world has sucked on a star quarterback’s hand and that’s why we love him.

Late Night Cabbie is going to be running all weekend long, so stay tuned to TSN’s social feeds, and if you miss it there, we’ll make sure to have you covered on BarDown.

Plus, we’ll always have a behind-the-scenes look at the goofiest moments.
