Penny Oleksiak turned 21 years old in June, but she’s accomplished more at the summer Olympics than any other Canadian, ever.

Competing in just her second Olympics, Oleksiak struck for bronze in the Women’s 200m Freestyle event, securing her second medal of Tokyo 2020. At the 150m turn, Oleksiak sat in 4th place. To the delight of Canadian viewers, she managed to overtake China’s Junxuan Yang in the final 50m to secure a spot on the podium.

The bronze marked her 6th Olympic medal, making her the most decorated summer Olympian in Canadian history. It also tied her with Clara Hughes and Cindy Klassen for the all-time mark, and she’s showing no signs of slowing down.

Canada took to Twitter to share their congratulations with the young Ontario native.

Congrats, Penny!
