Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue brought fans to tears (of joy) at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics after they captured gold in the Free Dance Ice Dance Figure Skating event. The gold was their third and fifth overall medal at the Winter Olympics.

Olympians, analysts, and fans took to Twitter to congratulate the duo afterward, and one from a particular Canadian managed to stand out above the rest. Deadpool Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds made sure to give both the pair, and freeskiier Cassie Sharpe a shoutout. Sharpe also managed to capture gold earlier in the day in the Ladies’ ski halfpipe event.

Overwhelmed with joy, Sharpe responded to the celebrity with a tweet of her own.

The message to Sharpe was very clear. But what exactly was meant in the second part about Moir and Virtue? Was he saying they make a perfect couple? Maybe he was just overjoyed and figured they would make good parents together? Who knows?

‘It’s nice to see that no matter where they are in the world or what they’re doing, Canadians still have each other’s backs. Even if it is through ambiguous messages on Twitter.
