The Washington Mystics have a chance to capture their first-ever WNBA title on Tuesday night as they enter Game 4 of the WNBA Finals holding a 2-1 series lead over the Connecticut Sun.
Ahead of the tilt, Washington Capitals Alex Ovechkin, TJ Oshie and Nicklas Backstrom showed the Mystics some love with a special video message.
Those are three guys who know all about winning a championship and what it means to bring a title back to Washington, D.C.
The Capitals weren't the only team to show them some love, though, as members of the Washington Wizards also recorded a special message for the women.
The Mystics were one of the first WNBA expansion franchises as they joined the league in 1998, but they’ve only appeared in two WNBA Finals with the first trip coming last season.
