It’s been over two years since Chris Bosh last played in the NBA, after blood clots threatened to end his career. For some time, it's been unclear if the 34 year old could make it back to the league.

But, of course, when LeBron James joins the Lakers, everything changes. Word is that Bosh, though still awaiting medical clearance, into the idea of a team-up in Los Angeles.

Who knows what Bosh has left in the tank, but, hey, at the least, it’s a feel-good story. Besides, since the arms race has already escalated to DeMarcus Cousins joining the Golden State Warriors, the rest of the league might as well pursue feel-good stories as much as a championship. Right?

And, if we let our imagination run loose for a moment, maybe Bosh still has some of that slick shooting and perimeter defense from his Miami days. If he wants to challenge the Warriors, LeBron’s going to need plenty of those things.

Welcome to the family 🙌
