When the Houston Rockets acquired Chris Paul in the 2017 offseason, they were hoping that the 9-time all-star would provide them with exactly what they needed to get over the Western Conference hump. 5 games into the series and the Rockets have seemingly got exactly that from Paul.

Thursday, the Rockets defeated the Warriors in a tight game at home to take a commanding 3-2 series lead, thanks in large part to Paul's performance which included an unbelievable clutch three-pointer in the third quarter. However, although Paul's highly contested three-pointer was wildly impressive, it was his celebration that really got the home crowd going.

Yes, that was Paul shimming in the face of Steph Curry after he drained his shot. If you're going to shimmy on people, you better expect to get reverse-shimmied at some point.

Going into Game 6 the Rockets are going to have to hope that Paul's late-game injury is nothing serious, as there going to need all hands on the flight deck if they hope to eliminate the Warriors and rocket into the NBA Finals.
