Kemba Walker was selected 9th overall in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Bobcats and he has spent his entire eight-year NBA career in Charlotte. However, the 29-year-old is set to hit the free agent market this summer after a career-year and many people are expecting Walker to leave the Hornets organization.

One person who really wants Walker to stay put in Charlotte for the long haul is Hornets centre Cody Zeller, who’s doing everything in his power to try to get his teammate to re-sign.

Zeller put on his own Kemba Walker Hornets jersey, went out and bought a bunch of jugs of lemonade and put together his own little curbside business in hopes of raising money towards Walker’s new contract with the team. His efforts did not go unnoticed, as Walker showed Zeller some love on his Instagram post.

Walker is at the end of a four-year, $48 million contract and is expected to get a hefty payday this summer.
