Cole ‘Goal’ Caufield has done it again.

The Montreal Canadiens' first round pick has demonstrated a knack for scoring from tough angles and Saturday’s World Junior Summer Showcase game against Team Canada was no exception. Tied at 1s on the powerplay, Caufield took a pass from Alex Turcotte and proceeded to absolutely snizz short side. This right here might be the goal of the tourney so far…

Jeez…

Thought this was his first time doing this at the tournament? Well, you were wrong! He did essentially the exact same thing in a game that also happened to be against Canada.

The kid can shoot!

It hasn’t all been merry for Caufield and his American teammates today, however. Shortly before the goal, defenceman Justin Barron laid the BOOM on American forward Joel Farabee.
