The beautiful thing about sports is that you never know when you’re going to be smacked in the face with an earth-shattering highlight. Sure, there are big moments where you expect something heroic may surface such as Game 7’s or overtimes, but big plays can happen at just about any moment. For example, did you think you’d be watching a highlight of the South Dakota Coyotes today?

Maybe you did, maybe you didn’t, but now you are. ‘Yotes wide receiver Dakarai Allen brought the crowd to their feet when he made a full-extension one handed grab near the 15 yard line. The bomb was reeled in while Allen was almost completely horizontal, giving it the same sort of look and feel that Giants’ star receiver Odell Beckham Jr. gave us when he came down with his famous snag.

Shades of OBJ from South Dakota WR Dakarai Allen 😱 . (via GoYotes.com)

The catch did have a small bobble, so it wasn’t quite the same as OBJ’s, but it still showcases a superhuman level of control and focus.

Now, can he make them over and over and over again like his Giants’ predecessor?
