Connor McDavid, Aaron Sanchez and Genie Bouchard are popular athletes in Canada for each of their sports, but their talents don’t always translate to each other’s game.

To see how they’d fair in tennis, (road) hockey, baseball and other random athletic tests, they got together at the Rogers Cup to test each other out. First up was road hockey, where Connor McDavid had a clear advantage. After that though, Bouchard’s home court advantage at the Rogers Cup helped her take home the trophy in the 60-second scramble, winning $5,000 for charity.

It’s always fun to see athletes try sports outside of their own, because it’s crazy how crazy they can pick up basically anything really quickly.

Even Sanchez and Bouchard who clearly don’t play hockey based on their shooting form were able to hone in on a specific target or motion and drill home some shots. Sanchez was basically using a golf swing and still chipping some shots into the top corner.

Hopefully Genie is able to carry on some of the momentum from this event and bring her success onto the court at the Rogers Cup. The Canadian tennis star has struggled in recent tournaments, but has shown flashes of her elite talent with wins over opponents like Maria Sharapova.

She’s been trying a lot of different sports recently, as she also tried out golf with the LPGA’s Michelle Wie.

Best shot of the day thanks coach @themichellewie
