On Monday, there was one question everyone wanted to ask Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid and it really didn't have anything to do with hockey.

Instead, it was about an incident that occurred as some fans heckled him while he was out with his family and when McDavid was asked about it, he had a simple response.

If you haven't seen the video, check it out below:

McDavid laughed off the comments that were made to him, but his head coach, Todd McLellan shared a strong take on why McDavid is the last person fans should be heckling, and he's absolutely right.

The 21-year-old has recorded 79 points this season and has been one of the few bright spots for the Oilers this season.

We imagine he'd trade all his points if it meant that he and his teammates could be in the playoff race, but there's no doubt in our minds McDavid will get Edmonton back to the postseason again in the very-near future.
