Cory Joseph is giving back to school children in need across Canada. Along with his family, the Pickering-born Sacramento Kings guard is funding thousands of food donations, per a team release.

β€œWith the platform I have, I feel it is my responsibility to help those in need, especially the children back home that are most vulnerable to the conditions of poverty,” said Joseph. β€œGrowing up in the Toronto area I saw those realities, so I hold a special place in my heart for this next generation.

Joseph has been giving back frequently to communities in Canada as well as in Sacramento, and it’s heartwarming to see that he continues to do so as we enter the third month of quarantine.

Previously, Joseph had partnered with Kings assistant coach and fellow Canadian Roy Rana to donate face shields to thousands of frontline workers in Toronto.
