For some sports fans, the Daytona 500 is the biggest day of the year.
One of the sport’s most marketable athletes is Dale Earnhardt Jr., and he decided to team with Goodyear to provide a fan with the experience of a lifetime. On Wednesday, Earnhardt Jr. surprised Vietnam veteran Paul Siverson (one of his biggest fans), while disguised as a pilot. Take a look.
It was the best of both worlds for the driver, as he was able to connect with someone who fought for his country while co-piloting a massive blimp.
Siverson will undoubtedly be cheering extra hard during tomorrow’s race.
