DeMar DeRozan probably thought he was going to spend his entire career with the Toronto Raptors at some point, but that all changed when the Raptors involved DeRozan in the Kawhi Leonard trade back in 2018.

After three seasons in San Antonio, DeRozan’s time with the Spurs came to an end on Tuesday as he was involved in a sign-and-trade deal involving the Chicago Bulls.

After the trade news broke, DeRozan took some time to thank the Spurs and the city of San Antonio for the hospitality during his short time there and referred to the Spurs as one of the classiest organizations in the league.
