We all know Dwyane Wade is playing his final NBA season, but Dirk Nowitzki hasn't announced if this season will be his last, so he hasn't been doing the whole "farewell tour."

That didn't stop Doc Rivers, however, from honouring one of the game's best players of all-time Monday night in Los Angeles.  Late in the 4th quarter, Rivers literally stopped the game and got on the mic to lead Clippers fans his players giving Dirk an incredible ovation.

If that was Nowitzki's final game in Los Angeles, Rivers made sure it was one he'd never forget.
Nowitzki had nothing but kind things to say about the moment and Doc following the game.
