You know how in basketball, when two superstars go head-to-head, they aren’t always the ones guarding each other? As much as we’d love to have seen, say, LeBron James guarding Kobe Bryant more often back in the day, positions and even defensive specialists exist for a good reason.

But there was none of that when rappers Drake and Quavo faced off in a friendly game of basketball. Nope. They guarded each other, and they went at each other. It’s a face-off between two of rap’s biggest stars, who we suppose just also happen to be complete two-way players on a basketball court.

Honestly, can’t we get these guys going at it in one of the NBA’s All-Star Celebrity Games? Last season we saw Quavo and Offset team up, with Quavo even being named MVP of the game, but they didn’t have a real rap counterweight on the other team, unless you’d like to count Nick Cannon. (We wouldn’t like to.)

Come on! Let’s live out more of our best rap feuds and comparisons on the hardwood. Let’s settle Pusha T and Drake in a one-on-one at next year’s All-Star Weekend in Charlotte. First to 21 wins, and the loser is hiding a child.

For now, the best we have is the virtual Drake of 2K dominating NBA floors.
