Of all the tracks off Drake’s latest album Scorpion, none have taken off in the culture more than “In My Feelings,” in part thanks to the viral #InMyFeelingsChallenge (which even some athletes have joined in on).

So with much of the world watching as the song’s music video dropped on Thursday, Drake was sure to spotlight one of the deeper cuts in his jersey collection. In the opening skit for the video, you can see Drake in a green-and-orange ‘Rattlers’ basketball jersey.

Who the heck are the Rattlers? They’re no NBA team, that’s for sure. They are the LeFlore High School Rattlers of Mobile, Alabama, and you would be forgiven for being unfamiliar. You’ll know the Rattlers alum that Drake is choosing to rep, though, and that’s NBA star DeMarcus Cousins.

For the rap-inclined, you’ll also know DeMarcus Cousins from the Drake lyric, “I might go DeMarcus Cousins out in public,” from his “6 Man” track (which also embedded fellow NBAer Lou Williams in the rap consciousness -- Drake loves sports!). Or, you might just also know DeMarcus Cousins as the latest NBA star to join up with the Golden State Warriors.

Drake and Boogie have been buddies for some time, since Drake used to be buddy-buddy in general with the Kentucky Wildcats basketball program where Cousins logged his NCAA time. We say this, as a long-winded way to call back to Drake’s most legendary basketball moment: This bit of nastiness masquerading as a jumper, which he suited up to show the world in one of Kentucky’s pre-game warmup sessions.

What a time. So, when can we expect Cousins' take on the #InMyFeelingsChallenge?
