Dwyane Wade’s farewell tour is wrapping up as the game continues to say their goodbyes to one of the game’s all-time greats. Wade has contributed so much to the game, and while he did have brief stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Chicago Bulls, everyone will remember him for his time with the Miami Heat.

Playing in parts of 15 seasons with the team, Wade made his name known for his ability to deliver in the clutch. He was a part of the Miami “Super Team”, made up of himself, Chris Bosh, and LeBron James. He’s won three NBA Championship Rings during his time in the league, while also participating in 13 All-Star games. He also won Finals MVP back in 2006.

It’s all wrapping up in a tearful goodbye as Wade prepares to hang up his shoes once and for all. While saying goodbye to opposing fan bases that he’s likely torched at some point in his career is one thing, his goodbye to the Miami crowd is the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Ahead of his final home game, Wade’s son Zaire introduced him by recreating “From Robbins, Illinois.”

The emotional moment was capped off by Wade addressing the crowd alongside his son. He opens up the moment by showing a little emotion.

The crowd’s MVP chants echo through the building as the longtime Heat legend prepares to say goodbye. Emotions were real high, and the moment will give you goosebumps.
