The season of Reverse-Retro jerseys is upon us, and more and more teams are finally debuting their new looks. It’s an exciting time for those of us that appreciate the style side of hockey, and Monday we got to see some more beauties take the ice.
It didn’t take long for fans to spot a flaw, however. On a photo tweeted out by the Pittsburgh Penguins, some eagle-eyed followers managed to spot an extremely subtle flaw in Bryan Rust’s jersey.
Can you spot it? We are comfortable admitting that we absolutely wouldn’t have on our own accord. Even when you know it’s there, it’s pretty hard to spot.
While you may be thinking that the letter is symmetrical from top to bottom, it’s the 3D shadowing that gives away the mistake. While all the other shadows drop down and to the left, the “I” on Rust’s jersey goes up and to the right.
What will you do with this information? Couldn’t tell ya.
