Not a whole lot of basketball players can claim to have shot a 50-40-90 season — 50 percent from the field, 40 percent on threes and 90 percent on free throws. The accomplishment is seen as the highest shooting benchmark that a player can clear.

Here’s the NBA’s 50-40-90 club in entirety, using the league’s own usage minimums to qualify for statistical leaderboards: Steve Nash (four times), Larry Bird (twice), Mark Price, Reggie Miller, Dirk Nowitzki, Kevin Durant, Steph Curry and Malcolm Brogdon.

In the WNBA’s 22-season history, the feat has never been accomplished... until Mystics star Elena Delle Donne pulled it off this year.

A former MVP and six-time All-Star, Delle Donne is regarded as one of the best players in the WNBA, and she’s leading a historically dominant Mystics offense. They’ll have the top seed in the playoffs, which begin on Wednesday.

If you’ve ever seen EDD in action, then you’ll already know her jumper is as pure as it gets. The 50-40-90 club is already excited to have her.
