Elias Pettersson is quickly making a name for himself in the NHL. Now he's actually making another name for himself.
The star Vancouver Canucks centre is coming off of a Calder Trophy-winning rookie season. While the 'Nucks didn't get much done in the standings, the season acted as a showcase for their promising future, with Pettersson right in the middle of it.
Well, as it turns out, the skilled Swede that we all consider a household name in the hockey world, it turns out we've been saying his name wrong.
Peter-sun, not Pedder-son.
Who knew? Good thing he got to us early in his career, or else it would be even more confusing.
