The whole world has essentially hit pause as we try to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, but that doesn’t mean we can’t find ways to have fun, and to connect with one another. There may be no better example so far than the mass concert that went on Saturday, featuring a live stream all day long, culminating in a two hour live broadcast.
Among the musicians performing, Elton John stood out as a highlight. Not just because of his world class ability on the ivory, but because he also fashioned his setup to perform right in front of a temporary basketball net.
Not sure about you, but it’s almost difficult to imagine the 73-year-old throwing down on the basketball court, so obviously Twitter decided to have a little fun with it.
