Not many people would actually follow through on a bet made on Twitter, especially when one person is a professional tennis player and the other one is just a fan. But Eugenie Bouchard is not like most people.

It all started when the 22-year-old tennis star tweeted this early on during Super Bowl LI.

Bouchard was feeling pretty confident in the Atlanta Falcons, so the 22-year-old decided to respond to the fan with โ€œsureโ€, thinking it was pretty much impossible for the New England Patriots to comeback in the second half. The rest, as we all know, is history.

On Wednesday night, Bouchard followed through on her Twitter bet and actually went on a date with John.

The two took in the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets game for their special night out.

Aside from the shots of them sitting courtside, they also got some air time on television.

It turns out this was the best date ever, according to John.

Kudos to Bouchard for actually following through on this Twitter bet, but weโ€™re guessing this isnโ€™t going to be a new trend amongst professional athletes.
