All of the talk heading into Monday night's game between the Senators and Jets in Ottawa was about Erik Karlsson and if the game would be his last at home as a member of the Senators.

It will take some time for that question to be answered, but Karlsson created some chatter by picking up the puck from the empty net and tucking it into his pants to keep.  After the game, Karlsson downplayed the moment and fans weren't buying it to say the least.

Whether you believe him or not, Karlsson playing right now after all he and his family have been through this season shows how much he he cares for the city and his team.

If this was his last home game as a member of the Senators, though, we've enjoyed watching Karlsson and his impact on and off the ice in Ottawa will always be remembered.
