When Chris Collinsworth took over the place of legendary broadcaster John Madden, fans weren’t sure how to take the news. Madden had such a recognizable voice and manner, and while fans knew that it had to come to an end at some point, you knew Collinsworth would have to go through the gauntlet before he became familiar with the fans.

Now, Collinsworth has all sorts of nuances that have become just as entertaining as Madden’s.  For example…

“Now here’s a guy that…”

Anyway, onto the most hilarious trackable nuance, one that we look forward to week after week.

The Chris Collinsworth SLIDE!

Incredible. Even got a Tony Dungy slide in there. The shot starts as an Al Michael monologue, and ends with the Chris Collinsworth SLIDE. Now you have something to look forward to next week when you’re watching Sunday Night Football!

It was even the source used for this edited video, originally of England fans cheering Harry Kane’s free kick goal during the World Cup semi-finals.

This tradition had better never end.
