Brad Marchand's style of play has been a big topic of conversation among hockey fans this season and he didn't do anything on Sunday to make the debates less heated.

During Boston's game against Philadelphia, Marchand cross-checked Andrew MacDonald in the face and on Monday, his punishment was passed down by the Department of Player Safety.

Those that saw the play, though, didn't a hard time deciding if the punishment fit the crime once the fine was handed down.

Marchand was suspended earlier this season for five games for elbowing Marcus Johansson, but with the playoffs right around the corner, he avoided a suspension in this scenario.
