Fans react to Cam Newton's "I'm back!" touchdown celebration in return to the Panthers

Leave it to Cam Newton to make an incredible return back to the Carolina Panthers.

Signing with the team on Thursday, Newton definitely had Panthers fans hyped up on Sunday while facing the Arizona Cardinals as Newton scored a touchdown on his first touch while throwing for one on his second.

During his end zone celebration, Newton pretty much hyped up every Panthers fan on the planet, shouting “I’m back!” towards the crowd.

And of course, social media erupted at the incredible return by Newton.

Especially as football fans used his celebration to make some pretty relatable memes.

Though shortly after, Newton was flagged for excessive celebration, which was deemed unsportsmanlike conduct. We mean, not for nothing, but that celebration was definitely worth it. What an awesome moment for Newton.

The Panthers went on to win 34-10 over the Cardinals.  Look, we don’t want to jinx anything, but Cam’s Carolina reunion seems like it’s going to be pretty great. He’s already showcasing that leadership mentality!
