It was a scary scene in Washington tonight as Nationals fans heard news of a shooting happening outside the arena.
The Nationals updated fans during the game informing them that the incident was happening outside the building in order to restore calm.
Initial video showed fans running onto the field and into the dugout and apparently it was Padres players Fernando Tatis Jr. and Manny Machado who opened the gate and helped usher fans into the dugout.
