Happy Friday sports fans!  It's an exciting time in the world of sports and this weekend figures to be an exciting one just like last weekend.

This weekend, the teams playing in the Super Bowl will be decided as it's championship Sunday in the NFL.  Plus, the playoff push is heating up in the NBA and NHL and UFC 220 is a must-watch Saturday night.

Great sporting events will provide unforgettable moments and great mascot moments as well and that's the perfect way to get into another edition of BarDown Mascot Power Rankings.

Last week, history was made as an NBA mascot took the top spot.  Would history be made again this week?  There's only one way to find out!  Enjoy the rankings and remember that these rankings are based on what mascots did this past week in the sports world, not which one you think is the best.

10. Hooper, Detroit Pistons (Up 75 spots)

It's no secret that we love hockey, so when mascots from other sports get involved with hockey, we always take notice.  Take Hooper, for example.  He had some fun with the Red Wings and we really enjoyed it.

9. ACE, Toronto Blue Jays (Up 52 spots)

The Blue Jays' 2018 Winter Tour was last week and ACE showed off he's better than a lot of mascots in sports.

8. Nodry, Minnesota Wild (Up 48 spots)

It was a huge weekend in Minnesota and the Wild, their fans, opposing players, and their mascot supported the Vikings from start to incredible finish.

7. Viktor The Viking, Minnesota Vikings (Up 29 spots)

Say it with us now, winners make the top ten and there wasn't a bigger winner this weekend than Viktor The Viking.

6. Stuff The Magic Dragon, Orlando Magic (Down 5 spots)

Stuff had the top spot last week, but the Magic Dragon is still in the top ten thanks to its Olympic routine ahead of the 2018 Winter Olympics.

5. Benny The Bull, Chicago Bulls (Up 39 spots)

Do we really need to explain why Benny The Bull is always in the top ten?  Rather than us doing that, these videos will explain for us.

Nice shot, @bennythebull!

4. Gnash, Nashville Predators (Up 5 spots)

Gnash will earn the top spot one of these days, but the Predators' mascot is slowly making its way up the rankings thanks to funny tweets.

3. KHL Mascots (Up 210 spots)

This past weekend, the KHL All-Star weekend took place and mascots from every team were there to entertain the fans, which they did in a number of fun ways.

#KHLAllStar

 2. Chance, Vegas Golden Knights (Up 163 spots)

Chance has been begging to get into the top ten and that goal has finally come to fruition thanks to a spot on Shawn Michaels impression (bonus points for the wrestling reference).

1. Franklin The Dog, Philadelphia 76ers (Up 20 spots)

For the second straight week, an NBA mascot is on top of the rankings and for good reason.  Things got heated in Philadelphia between DeMar DeRozan and T.J. McConnell and Franklin decided to step up and challenge DeRozan.

Franklin was willing to get involved and you can't teach that kind of toughness and courage.
