Percy Harvin has been out of the NFL for some time now, but he’s making headlines again thanks to some comments he made in a Bleacher Report video that was posted on Wednesday.

In the video, Harvin claimed “there’s not a game – there’s not a game I played that I wasn’t high.” Harvin spent eight seasons in the league between the Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks, capturing a Lombardi with the latter in 2014. The 31-year-old expressed he was given seven different prescriptions for his anxiety disorder, but cannabis was the only drug that helped him level out.

“And that’s what I kind of want the world to see today, is it’s not a stigma and people doing it and getting into a whole bunch of trouble,” Harvin said in the interview. “It’s just people that’s just living regular life that just got deficiencies or maybe just want to enjoy themselves. It’s a natural way to do so.”

Pretty powerful stuff from one of the better kick returners of his generation.

Harvin’s been out of the league since 2016 but seems to be doing well at 31 years of age. The 2009 22nd overall pick was named first-team All-Pro in his rookie season and also won two national championships with Florida before going pro.
