Gary Payton said he was a fan of the Golden Knights and fans in Seattle weren’t too pleased

Gary Payton is a legendary point guard who played most of his career in Seattle with the SuperSonics. Payton is revered by fans in the emerald city and he went on stage to announce one of the picks for the Kraken with his former teammate Shawn Kemp.

Payton was discussing his relationship with hockey and how he had been keeping up with another team in the NHL, the Vegas Golden Knights. When he announced that fans weren’t too pleased in the crowd, but he knows where his fandom lies now.
