Playoff baseball is a different animal, and it’s easy to get excited — excited enough, maybe, to make outrageous promises that you might not even really be expected to keep.

But Houston Astros fan Eddie Flores kept his promise, even shelling out $500 for the cause. It started with a bet that George Springer would hit a home run against the Cleveland Indians, and when he did, Flores bought every fan in his section a beer.

But that wasn’t all.

After Springer went deep, he was followed by Jose Altuve — who also blasted a homer of his own, and ABC13 reports that, yes, the Astros fan bought another round of beer for his section to match the back-to-back. The final cost of two beers for a full section of fans? Five hundred dollars.

There’s a fan we’d like to share a section with one day. The Astros would go on to win 7-2, taking a 1-0 lead in the ALDS.
