The NHL's newest mascot, Gritty, has made quite the statement since being unveiled by the Flyers earlier this week.  In its first preseason game, Gritty took a MASSIVE wipeout on the ice and he followed up that outing in an equally entertaining way Thursday night.

The Rangers were in town for the Flyers' final preseason game at home and Gritty decided to show them the true meaning behind the Philadelphia's nickname.

If that's not brotherly love, we don't know what is.

Rangers fans weren't the only ones of the receiving end of Gritty's shenanigans, either, as he rocked the goalies taking part in the intermission goalie race.

Nobody is safe when Gritty is around.
