Toronto Maple Leafs goalie prospect Garret Sparks has made it clear that he’s quite the character.

When he’s not taking care of business on the ice, the 25-year-old is often crackin’ jokes and making his presence felt on Twitter. With the NHL in the middle of its offseason, Sparks just can’t seem to stay away from the game, and he proved that on Saturday when he issued a tweet about mini-sticks that's sure to give hockey fans a good laugh.

Just picture this in your head for a second. Sparks, who stands at 6’2, 195, somehow getting lit up on a small mini-net and actually getting forced from the net by his nine-year-old teammates. THEN coming out and pulling hero against them (they’re nine for crying out loud) and lightning up the other goalie for the win. Ya can’t make this stuff up kids!

Sparks recently made noise on the internet after he pointed out a crucial mistake in his NHL 19 card. If you take a close look, you can clearly see that the netminder is dressed in Montreal Canadiens socks.

What’s up with that red stripe!

After helping the Toronto Marlies capture the Calder Cup, it’s looking like the American is having one crazy summer.
