We're big into goalie equipment. Pads, masks, gloves, blockers, the whole shebang. Goalies tend to switch up equipment every now and then, especially for the special games on the calendar like the Stadium Series, for example.
We love when goalies make a change or practice with new gear because we get to see their creativity on display and discuss whether or not the new gear looks good, because that's a big part of the equation. When it comes to the gear Pekka Rinne was rocking Wednesday, we don't think there's any question that it's fire.
Will Rinne rock those pads for the playoffs? We (and fans) really hope so because they are incredible.
The Predators have already clinched a playoff spot and right now, they're fighting for the Central Division crown with the Jets as they're two points back of Winnipeg for first in the division.
There was also another piece of big news from Preds practice as Dante Fabbro joined his new teammates.
