It’s been nearly three months since the Humboldt Broncos hockey team was involved in a tragic accident and we’re still seeing the hockey community come together to help those affected by the crash in many different ways.

Ten of the 13 survivors recently reunited in Las Vegas at the NHL Awards for the first time since the crash and one of the players in that group was winger Derek Patter. On Tuesday morning, the Edmonton, Alberta native shared an inspirational video on his social feed as he returned to the ice for the very first time since the accident.

It’s been 11 weeks since Patter underwent surgery and now he’s back on the ice. This is easily the greatest thing you will see all day and probably even all week.
