Tuesday, Isaiah Thomas will finally make his return to NBA action after his extended stay on the injured reserve list. Cavaliers fans will be excited to finally get the chance to see how I.T. will fit in the lineup, but fans outside of Cleveland are probably a little upset that the team didn't push the return back to Wednesday, as they play the Celtics in what will be Thomas' first time back in Boston since he was traded.

Despite I.T. not being in the lineup, the Celtics planned on playing a tribute video during the game to commemorate the guard's time with the team. However, Thomas requested that the Celtics not air it on Wednesday, as he won't be in the lineup and would like for his family to be in attendance when the team does ultimately show a tribute video. This rubbed one writer the wrong way, which then led to I.T. responding directly.

Seems like a pretty reasonable request to us, as the city and the organization not only embraced Thomas during a difficult period, but his whole family as well.
